My First Time!

Please, don't be confused by the title this is not a blushing maidens memoir ,but a memoir of my first Lolita homemade outfit. Now I must say ,some of my outfit was bought and altered. I often go to thrift shops like Goodwill or other local (not very popular) hand-me-down stores. At my local Goodwill (now assisted by my grandmother being visited daily) I found a white vest covered in cute strawberries. Next my amazing find was a white woman's dress shirt with pretty details at the bottom of the sleeves.My plans in which are not finished is adding lace to the vest. I took a pair of my old white shorts and added red lace to the bottom followed by lovely (homemade) bows in which were delicately placed and sewed to the lace. 

I thought my outfit was not complete at all so I decided to (for the first time ever with no tutorial at all) make my first head dress! The base material is covered with cute half eaten fruit. Adding lace, bows, and the tie to hold it on my neck. Other things I have created will be shown below.

My Concept Of Lolita?

I studied Lolita for a while now realizing only a little bit about lolita. My point of view may be very different from yours or mine. I look at lolita as a release. A form of meditation of my childhood. I dress lolita because I feel it gives me freedom to stand above the crowd. I love lolita's sophisticated manor in which rises of the others. Lolita is something that can make you feel like a child again, making all your worries float away.
Lolita should not be mocked but admired. The graceful, beautiful, elegant lolitas.....

DARE 2 DARE!

Yesterday, I decided to take a trip to my local library and check out some Manga. Though my local library is small it does have a rather kickass manga & comic section , meaning Im about to do something very challenging! I grabbed as many manga's as I could including Vampire "Knight vol. 4/5/6", "Love Com vol. 5/6/8/9/10", "Girl Peach vol. 3", and the one that is not Japanese that caught my eye "Scott Pilgrim vol. 2." Saddly my little hands could not carry much more.
I have challenged my self to read as much manga as I can in 3 weeks. Well, at least the amount I checked out. As I finish these intence manga's ,I will write a review for each chapter of the manga story I finish.
